What should I do on the day of my tattoo?

Have a meal and drink water about an hour before to help prevent light-headedness. Wear dark, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Consider shaving the area beforehand, although your artist will also do this.

Bringing a distraction like a book, MP3 player, or smartphone can help pass the time. It’s important to communicate with your artist if you feel faint or uncomfortable at any point during the session.
